As a Summer Student, you’ll play an important role in keeping our community beautiful and functional. This position involves a variety of outdoor and indoor tasks under supervision, including:
- Watering flowers & trees and weed trimming.
- Road maintenance.
- Water, drainage infrastructure.
- General cleaning, painting, and building maintenance.
- Tree pruning and branch removal.
- Lawn maintenance.
- Concrete Projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be returning to school in fall 2026.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to operate a weed eater for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, and complete timesheets.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform assigned duties.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must maintain positive working relationships and interact with the public courteously.
- Clean criminal record.
Wage: $16.22/hour (as per CUPE Local Agreement No. 456)
Term: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 (flexible start and end dates)
